Cervical Cancer Resources
The Utah Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program provides cancer screenings to Utah women who are low income and uninsured, or underinsured. We serve:
- Women aged 40 and older for breast cancer screening
- Women aged 21-64 for cervical cancer screening
Women who qualify for the program may also be eligible for services through the BeWise program.
Free screenings may include:
- Mammogram
- Clinical breast exam
- Pap test
- Blood pressure
- Cholesterol
- Blood sugar

Breast and cervical cancer legislation
To improve access to cancer screening, Congress passed the Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Prevention Act of 1990.
Utah Breast & Cervical Cancer Program
The Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program contracts with surgeons, obstetricians, gynecologists, and gynecologic oncologists for reimbursement for specified diagnostic and follow-up procedures for clients who qualify for our program.
The program also contracts with various types of facilities.
